Hi! My name is David Ledo, I'm a Venezuelan-Canadian multi-disciplinary interaction designer, computer scientist, and graphic designer soon to be based in Toronto, Ontario. I'm a Senior Research Scientist at Autodesk Research. My Human–Computer Interaction research to date spans a variety of novel interaction techniques, prototyping tools, and research methods.

I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Calgary working with professors Lora Oehlberg and Saul Greenberg. During my graduate studies, I worked at multiple academic and industrial institutions in Canada, the US, and Europe, including the University of Saskatchewan, Autodesk Research, Aarhus University, and Microsoft Research. My PhD work was recognized through multiple awards, including the Killam Fellowship, the Adobe Research Fellowship, scholarships from NSERC and Alberta Innovates, and four teaching excellence awards, among others.

I enjoy a variety of hobbies, including flamenco guitar, illustration and drawing, playing indie video games, baking, and exploring cities.
